I liked the shape and curved forms of this rock. The curves and shape are repeated in this sculpture of a sucking out right that Mason Ho would have no problem with exiting. The holes in the rock remind me of the moon, whose diameter and distance from Earth make it appear to be the same size as the sun in the sky making total solar eclipses possible. The moon's distance from earth is also just right for its gravity to stabilize the earths tilt in orbit and maintain moderate tides in our ocean.
This handmade sculpture belongs to an open edition series. The series has no predetermined limit and will continue to grow with new unique pieces. This work is stamped with the year completed, its chronological number in the series, and the artist’s signature on the back.
